Kityse was launched in July 2023 as a small online lighting studio. Our founder, Elias—a longtime admirer of minimalist design and functional beauty—noticed that most big lighting brands focused on mass production, often overlooking the quiet magic of handcrafted, innovative, and soulful lighting solutions.

Driven by a desire to bring these hidden gems to light (literally!), he set out to create a platform dedicated to unique, well-made lamps—from sculptural table lights to smart outdoor fixtures—that do more than just illuminate: they inspire.

In the beginning, it wasn’t easy. With limited resources, we started with just a handful of independent designers and small studios, carefully curating pieces that blended form, function, and feeling. Our team? Just three people working out of a tiny garage—but united by a shared belief: light shapes how we live.

We officially launched our website in May 2019 with our first collection of artisanal desk lamps and ambient floor lights. Though few knew our name, our commitment to quality, thoughtful curation, and personalized service quickly earned the trust of early supporters—people who valued atmosphere over trends, and craftsmanship over convenience.

By October 2022, we began expanding our range: introducing solar-powered garden lights, smart LED systems, and even portable camping lanterns—always with an eye for design and sustainability. We also redesigned our website to make browsing, visualizing, and choosing the perfect light as effortless as turning on a switch.

Today, we’re still a small lighting brand—but our mission burns brighter than ever.
